Dropkick Murphys are hitting the road again with punk legends Pennywise and hotly-tipped Dublin rock band The Scratch for a fall North American tour. They are set to ignite the stage at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Dropkick Murphys, Boston’s rock ‘n’ roll underdogs turned champions, have been creating anthemic music since 1996. Known for their energetic performances, the band boasts four consecutive Billboard top 10 albums and the iconic platinum hit “I’m Shipping Up To Boston.” Their music has generated over half-a-billion streams and sold over 8 million units worldwide. In 2020, they pioneered streaming performances, with their virtual St. Patrick’s Day and Fenway Park shows drawing millions of viewers. In 2022, they released their first all-acoustic album, “This Machine Still Kills Fascists,” featuring unpublished lyrics by Woody Guthrie.
Expect high-octane performances and Celtic rock sounds as Dropkick Murphys take the stage with hits like “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” and “Rose Tattoo.” This is a night of powerful music and electric atmosphere you won’t want to miss.
