Join us for the 2026 Mountain Hunting Expo & Salute to Conservation, hosted by the Wild Sheep Society of BC in Penticton on February 27–28, 2026 — Canada’s premier gathering for mountain hunters, outdoorspeople, and conservation supporters.
Set in the beautiful Penticton at the state-of-the-art Penticton Trade and Convention Centre (just two blocks from Okanagan Lake), this weekend is built around three things: world-class gear, expert education, and a community that cares about wild sheep and wild places. Penticton is centrally located and easy to access, with connections through the Penticton Regional Airport.
There are two components to this event: the Mountain Hunting Expo and Salute to Conservation.
Mountain Hunting Expo
Step into an exhibit hall featuring 80+ booths loaded with the latest mountain hunting equipment from around the world. You’ll find premium retailers and makers showcasing optics, packs, apparel, firearms, backcountry essentials, art, taxidermy, and the hard-to-find items you want in your kit before next season. If it’s about mountain hunting—or wild sheep conservation—you’ll find it here. 2026 Featured Vendors include Sitka Gear, Kifaru, Precision Optics, Gunwerks, Fierce, Italian Sporting Goods, Frontiersmen Gear, Zeiss, Leica and more.
Salute to Conservation
Want to level up before your next hunt? Our Sheep Hunter University delivers seminars led by industry experts covering hunting strategies, firearms, gear selection, and how to prepare for demanding mountain hunts. Between sessions, connect with fellow hunters, conservation leaders, and brands that live and breathe the same lifestyle. Expert presenters include Caylen Wojcik, Brad Brooks, Adam Foss, Omer Hrbinic and Ryan Holm, just to name a few.
This event is inclusive—whether you’re an experienced mountain hunter or just getting started, there’s something for everyone. Coming off a record 2025 Expo, momentum is high and demand will be strong. Make plans now and be there February 27–28, 2026.

How to Purchase Tickets:
Tickets are available to purchase in-person at the Valley First Box Office (at the SOEC) or online at www.ValleyFirstTix.com. Day of, the Box Office will be set up at the Convention Centre’s Entrance 2. Tickets for the Expo go on sale Monday, February 16, at 10:00 AM.
