DESCRIPTION:Bald Range Wildfire Updates\n\n\n\nThe City of Penticton has activated its Emergency Operations Centre and is serving as a host community for evacuees. This remains an evolving situation. The City is encouraging people to stay informed and take steps to be prepared should conditions change. \n\n\n\nEmergency Support Services (ESS) \n\n\n\nIf you are safe\, please self-register with ESS by calling 1-800-387-4258. \n\n\n\nIn-person registration is available at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre\, 273 Power Street. Operation hours are currently 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily\, until further notice. \n\n\n\nESS informational pamphlets for evacuees and ESS info sheet \n\n\n\nInformation about accessing support services \n\n\n\nReclaim Lost or Donated Items:\n\n\n\nThe Penticton Trade and Convention Centre has several lost and found items from the ESS Reception Centre\, as well as donated mattresses\, bedding\, and pillows that remain unclaimed. \n\n\n\nIf you are looking for a lost item\, please email PentictonConventionCentre@oakviewgroup.com with your name\, contact information\, and a description of the item you are trying to locate. \n\n\n\nWe would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who generously donated mattresses\, bedding\, and pillows.
