DESCRIPTION:Celebrating mine rescue for over 100 years\, the 68th Provincial Mine Rescue & First Aid Competition brings together mine rescue and first aid teams from across British Columbia to test their emergency response skills in exciting and realistic surface and underground scenarios. The competition plays a vital role in maintaining consistent training standards across the province and supporting mutual aid among B.C. mining operations during emergencies. \n\n\n\nOver three days\, teams compete in a series of challenging\, hands-on scenarios designed to assess technical knowledge\, teamwork\, and decision-making under pressure. The event also highlights the dedication and professionalism of mine rescue and first aid personnel while offering an educational and engaging experience for spectators of all ages.
