Accessibility in Penticton

Our city has committed to making our community liveable and accessible for all by removing barriers and creating opportunities for individuals with all abilities.

The Rick Hansen Foundation reviewed two trail networks in town and deemed them RHF Accessibility Certified (RHFAC).

The Penticton Community Centre has been upgraded to enhance accessibility and provides activities that are accessible.

Skaha Lake Park and Okanagan Lake now have ramps to make it easier for those in wheelchairs to get to the beach.

Many parks in the town now have specially designed picnic tables that allow wheelchair users to roll up closer to the table.
